“The Polk Bayou Kids and The Search for Civil War Gold” a new book by local author Mark ALan Rorie is now available at Batesville Printing, 240 South 4th Street. The Old Independence Regional Museum and the Paper Chase Book Store.
Go on an adventure with Luke, his dog Kristi and four of his friends as they discover a secret door that leads to a cave and maze of tunnels under the historic district of Batesville.
Book signings are Saturday March 28th from 2 to 4 PM at the Old Independence Regional Museum and April 3rd from 11-2 PM at the Paper Chase Book Store.
A reading of Mr. Rorie’s book will be Friday Night, April 10th at the Batesville Area Arts Council, 246 Main Street in Batesville.
