North Central Career Center (NCCC) Adult Education Classes To Open Soon

North Central Career Center (NCCC) Adult  Education classes will open on Monday, August 19, 2013. Classes are  open to anyone wishing to earn an Arkansas High School diploma (GED);  improve their basic reading, writing, and math skills; or learn or improve  basic computer skills. NCCC Adult Education also offers those seeking  to pass college entrance exams basic skills refresher courses and those  whose primary language is not English, are welcome to come in and study  to improve their English speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Classes are free and are open-entry, open-exit.  A student can enroll at any time within the school year and exit at  any time during the year. The fall semester begins August 19, 2013 and  ends December 19, 2013. Both the Leslie Center, at 402 Oak Street, and  the Clinton Center, at 100 Success Drive, are open from 8:00 a.m. to  3:00 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Evening classes are open from 3:00  p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at both centers. The centers  are closed on Fridays.

The Clinton Center Teen Classroom will NOT  open until Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Classroom hours are 8:00am to 3:00pm,  Tuesdays through Thursdays.
