“Off the Beaten Path” Studio Tour in Mountain View

The 8th annual “Off the Beaten Path” Studio Tour will take place September 18th, 19th, and 20th. This free self-guided driving tour of artists’ studios in Mountain View, Calico Rock, Pineville, and Fox, includes the diverse and exciting work of over 30 local artists in the setting where their art is created. These talented artists will open their private working studios to the public on this special weekend from 9 am to 6 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.

To guide you on the tour, we have prepared a 40 page printed “Guide to Artists’ Studios” which provides information about each of the artists with a map and directions to each of the studios on the tour.  To get your copy of the Guide, register at one of the locations in the tour area by filling out a brief information form to help us better advertise and promote the tour next year.  Register for the tour and pick up your free Guide to Artists’ Studios at the Chamber of Commerce on the Square in Mountain View and on Historic Main Street in Calico Rock, as well at the following locations: in Mountain View, Aunt Minnie’s Yellow House, The Arkansas Craft Gallery,  the Dulcimer Shoppe, Candy Bouquet, The Wildflower Bed & Breakfast, Pinewood Cabins, Turner Coffee Tree, and Mikey‘s Smoked Meats; in Calico Rock at Don Quixote’s Restaurant, and Brookfalls Restaurant; in Leslie at both Serenity Farms Bakery locations on Main St. and on Highway 65 South; at the Buffalo Coffee Co. in Mountain Home; at Morningside Coffee House in Batesville; and at the Ashley House B & B in Melbourne.  You can also get tour information and register online at www.offthebeatenpathstudiotour.com.
