The 8th annual “Off the Beaten Path” Studio Tour will take place September 18th, 19th, and 20th. This free self-guided driving tour of artists’ studios in Mountain View, Calico Rock, Pineville, and Fox, includes the diverse and exciting work of over 30 local artists in the setting where their art is created. These talented artists will open their private working studios to the public on this special weekend from 9 am to 6 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday.
To guide you on the tour, we have prepared a 40 page printed “Guide to Artists’ Studios” which provides information about each of the artists with a map and directions to each of the studios on the tour. To get your copy of the Guide, register at one of the locations in the tour area by filling out a brief information form to help us better advertise and promote the tour next year. The Citizens Bank in Mountain View will be hosting an Artists Reception and Exhibit on Friday night, September 18th, from 7 to 9 pm for artists, sponsors, and tour guests. The Reception will be catered by the Ozarka Culinary Arts Class, Ozarka Community College in Melbourne. The public is invited to this free event.
