Old Independence Regional Museum Announces Story Time for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Old Independence Regional Museum will continue story time for toddlers and preschoolers this fall.  Make plans to join us for stories and crafts.   Story time begins at 10:30 a.m. and will take place on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, September – December. Those dates are as follows:    September 13th and 27th, October 11th and 25th, November 8th and 22nd, and December 13th.  Please notice that the day has changed for story time.  It is now being offered on Tuesdays.

Story time is free and pre-registration is not required, but groups of five or more are asked to call ahead.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  If you have questions, please contact the museum at 793-2121.

Old Independence serves a 12-county area:  Baxter, Cleburne, Fulton, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Marion, Poinsett, Sharp, Stone, White, and Woodruff.  Parts of these present-day counties comprised the original Independence County in 1820s Arkansas territory.

The museum is located at 380 South 9th street, between Boswell and Vine Streets in Batesville.
