People who enjoy looking for treasures, junk, and “stuff” while driving scenic Ozark highways should check out the Ozark Byways Buy-Days this Saturday.
Rural communities throughout the north central Arkansas Ozarks are joining forces for a region-wide yard sale and sidewalk sale on Saturday, September 27. “Follow the winding road for a genuine Ozarks experience” is the tagline of the coalition of communities called Ozark Byways.
The winding road connects a dozen rural communities that are on or near Highways 65 and 7 on the western portion of the loop and Highways 9, 263, and 66 on the eastern side of the loop. Participating communities are Alpena, Jasper, Mt. Judea, Valley Springs, St. Joe, Leslie, Marshall, Shirley, Fox, Timbo, Diamond City, and Lead Hill.

A list of yard sale addresses appears on the website as well. Yard sale shoppers are invited to hit the road and enjoy the day.
