Ozark Foothills Literacy Project Book Drive

Ozark Foothills Literacy Project is hosting a book drive in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Service Day. All donations will benefit the Family Violence Prevention Center in Batesville, AR and the Ash Flat Public Library. The book drive will run from 01-12-2015 through 01-26-2014.

Many local businesses are participating in the drive by allowing OFLP to set up donation stations. These businesses include: Morningside Coffee House, Ozark Foothills Literacy Project, Big’s Restaraunt, First Community Bank, Citizen’s Bank, Paperchase Bookstore, Natalie’s, Elizabeth’s, Mexican Mama’s, Anytime Fitness, Heartline Health, Bread of Life, and Independence Public Library

OFLP staff members will be serving coffee, cider, and snacks in exchange for a book or monetary donation at Family Violence Prevention Fresh Start Retail Shop on Mon. Jan. 19th from 1:00 – 4:00 PM , at Paperchase Bookstore on Tues. Jan. 20th from 1:00-4:00 PM, and at Goodwill on Wed. Jan. 21st from 1:00-4:00 PM. Donations of snacks, drinks, and cups have come from Flower’s Bakery, PECO, and Dana Collins of Damavations, LLC.
