Ozarka College Culinary Arts Serving Up Italian Cuisine For Second Gourmet Dinner

The Ozarka College Culinary Arts Gourmet Dinner will feature Italian cuisine on Thursday, Sept. 26. The dinner is scheduled
from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Lobby of the John E. Miller Education Complex on the Melbourne campus, 218 College Dr.

Advanced Culinary Arts students work alongside Lead Culinary Chef Lou Rice and instructor Mimi Newsome to develop the evening’s menu and prepare the unique dishes. Each semester, Culinary Arts students host gourmet dinners to gain real-world experience to better prepare them in their future careers.

Gourmet nights are also scheduled for Oct. 10 and 24 and Nov. 7 and 21.

Reservations are highly recommended for anyone wanting to attend, but are not required, and can be made by calling the Culinary Arts department at 870-368-2062. Menus with pricing will be available, along with a kid-friendly menu.
