Ozarka College Foundation Hosting Music Fundraising Event June 27

Mtn. View– The Ozarka College Foundation Board of Directors is hosting a Music Program at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.  Proceeds from the ticket sales for this event will benefit the Mountain View Building Expansion Campaign.

The event sponsor for this benefit program is Centennial Bank of Mountain View.  The musical line-up includes: The Larry Nelson Family, Ozark Rhythm Cloggers, Sylamore Crossing, the Cobb Brothers, and the trio of Danny Dozier, John Parks and Pam Setser.

The Mountain View building project is scheduled to begin early Fall with a groundbreaking celebration planned for August 10, 2010.  Ozarka College Foundation board members are currently taking pledges for two phases of the building project.  The first phase includes: classrooms, nursing lab, lecture hall, student center and cyber café, and a conference room.  Phase two is an outdoor amphitheater which will be available to the community.  Naming opportunities are available for this project. The planned music program will also include student testimonials on the benefit of their Ozarka education, and a presentation of the new facilities by Ozarka’s President, Dr. Richard Dawe.
