Ozarka College Foundation to Present Michael Johnson in concert

The Ozarka College Foundation will host singer/songwriter Michael Johnson in concert on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m.
at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View.

A celebrated guitarist, Johnson is well known for his songs “Bluer than Blue,” “This Night Won’t Last Forever” and “That’s That.”

His 1986 hit “Give Me Wings” reached number one on the charts and was the Billboard Country Song of the Year.

Johnson has performed internationally in Spain, Japan, Holland, the Philippines and elsewhere. He has toured with Clint Black, Wynonna Judd, and Alison Krauss and Union Station.

“The Ozark Folk Center is the perfect venue for an evening with Michael Johnson,” said Suellen Davidson, director of advancement at Ozarka College. “He is an acoustical soloist at heart, as well as a showman. It’s going to be a delightful event for music-lovers of all ages.”

Admission is general admission only and tickets are $15.
