Prevention Resource Center will be conducting a four hour TeamAwareness “Small Business” training March 27

Team Awareness is anevidence-based program that has been identified as effective by the NationalRegistry of Effective Programs (NREP). Team Awareness “SmallBusiness” is a workplace-training program for HR, Supervisors, and Managersto address behavioral risks relating to workplace substance abuse amongemployees and their coworkers. The training addresses specific factors thataggravate employee substance use and prevent effective policy implementation.This program has been shown to increase employee help-seeking for andsupervisor responsiveness and troubled workers, enhance the work climate, andreduce problem drinking. Team Awareness is highly interactive and uses groupdiscussion, communication exercises, a board game, role play, and selfassessments. Modules cover policy ownership, enabling stress management,listening skills and peer referral.

The training will be conducted on March 27th at 25 Gap Rd. Batesville AR, 72503at the Health Resources CentralAdministration Building,in large conference room from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Alight lunch will be served.
