WASHINGTON, DC –
Senator Mark Pryor delivered his farewell address to the U.S. Senate on Monday.
Pryor reflected on his 12 years of service and encouraged bipartisanship among his colleagues to help restore confidence in the political system.
“The biggest and most serious problem facing our nation today is the dysfunction in our political system in Washington,” Pryor said. “America has incredible potential, but we cannot reach it unless Washington starts to work again – for all of us. If we are to continue to be the greatest national on earth, we must work together.”
