Description: The Mabee-Simpson Library staff is hosting a reception for Kathy Whittenton to celebrate her 25 years at Lyon College. The reception will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24 in the Bevens Music Room adjacent to Brown Chapel.
Ms. Whittenton, public services librarian at the Lyon library, is a 1975 graduate of Lyon College. She received her master of library science degree at Peabody College of Vanderebilt University. A member of First Presbyterian Church, Batesville, she serves on the college’s Board of Church Advocates.
The public is invited to the reception to help celebrate this milestone in Kathy’s career.
