Description: In an effort to help end hunger in Arkansas, the University of Central Arkansas and McNeese State in Louisiana, have entitled their annual football game, the “Red Beans & Rice Bowl.” The game will be held this Saturday, November 20 at 2:00 at UCA.
UCA has partnered with The Arkansas Rice Depot, Arkansas’ largest hunger-relief organization, who is also the beneficiary of the game’s sponsorship funds.
Arkansas has more hungry citizens per capita than any other state, many of which are children. *We encourage your station to run the attached :30 PSA promoting the game and the importance of rice agriculture to Arkansas & Louisiana.
