Reynolds: Obama and Lincoln need to hear our voice

CONWAY – Republican United States Senate candidate Col. Conrad Reynolds (US Army, Ret.) today issued the following statement on President Obama’s health care address before a joint session of Congress:

“There is one thing President Obama said tonight that I wholeheartedly agree with: The time for games has passed. And it is not because the president said so, but it is because the people of America – especially the people of Arkansas – have joined together in a voice so loud it still echoes through the halls of Congress.

“The president and Senator Lincoln need to hear the voice of Arkansans and take government-run health care off the table and start over on a common-sense, bipartisan health care reform plan our nation can afford. Arkansans don’t want a government takeover of their health care. They don’t want a new speech. They want a new plan, and I urge President Obama and Senator Lincoln to hear our voice.”
