‘Tis the season for some holiday fun and return toLittle Rock’s downtown entertainment district to celebrate all the wonder andmagic of the River Market outdoor ice-skating rink.
Justin time for the winter holidays, families young and old will be able to enjoyfun and festive active recreation under the twinkling lights of the RiverMarket open-air pavilions with Little Rock’s Winter Celebration – “ARVEST River Market onIce”.
ArvestBank will return as the official ice rink presenting sponsor and additionalsponsors are to include the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau (LRCVB),Downtown Little Rock Partnership (DTLRP), Little Rock Parksand Recreation, Baptist Health, Airmasters Heating & Air Conditioning andArkansas Democrat Gazette.
Theice rink will open to the public Nov. 19, 2011 and run through Jan. 8, 2012.Skating rink hours will be Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.,Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Operationalhours will vary and extend during special and school holidays. Entry fees willbe $9 per person including tax and skate rental, with children ages four andunder free with paid adult admission. The Arkansas Skatium and their personnelhave been secured to facilitate daily operations of the rink.
