The Rotary Club of Cleburne County has donated $1,700 to fund the Kids Summer Day Camp to be held June 24-26, July 15-17 and July 29-31 at the Heber Springs Community Center.

Fifty children from ages 5 to 12 will attend each camp session. Daily activities begin with a 9 a.m. story time. Groups of about a dozen kids each, along with two leaders, then proceed through several activities for about 90 minutes. After a swimming session, activities wrap up at noon.

Rotary Club funds were earned through this year’s first Angler’s Expo held at the Community Center. Plans are already underway for next year’s exposition.
