Arkansas Secretary of State John Thurston extends thanks to the many poll workers across the state who gave of their time to ensure a smooth electoral process for the people of Arkansas. Secretary Thurston also sent the following letter to Arkansas county clerks and county election commissioners Wednesday, following the successful execution of the primary election on Tuesday.
Dear Clerks and Commissioners,
I wanted to congratulate you on a very successful Presidential Primary and Nonpartisan Judicial Election. This was one of the smoothest elections in recent memory and that is a testament to the hard work and preparation that you and your staff put into the process. I can’t thank you enough for all that you do.
As we move forward to the November General Election, please don’t hesitate to continue reaching out to my staff for help and training.
