Washington – Senator Blanche Lincoln (D-AR), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, announced that the Committee will hold a hearing entitled “Reforming U.S. Financial Market Regulation” on November 18 at 9:30 a.m. in room 106 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
The hearing will examine the U.S. derivatives market and the adequacy of the current regulatory structure. . This will be the first hearing on financial regulatory reform the Committee has held under Chairman Lincoln’s leadership.
