Senator Lincoln on First Democratic Primary Debate

Little Rock – U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., today said she looked forward to the opportunity to debate her opponents, beginning April 23 with a debate sponsored by local ABC affiliate KATV-TV and hosted by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

“I am eager to debate my primary opponents so that Arkansas voters have the opportunity to accurately judge my record of common sense results for our state,” Lincoln said.  “Arkansans know where I stand from the tough votes I have taken, and they deserve to know where my opponents stand as well.”

The April 23 debate will take place from 7-8 p.m. at UALR’s University Theater.  The debate will be broadcast live by KATV-TV and fellow ABC affiliate KHBS/KHOG-TV in Northwest Arkansas.
