The Faulkner County Library announces a new partnership with Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour.
The Faulkner County Library is now affiliated with Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour through its SongFarmers program. The mission statement of the SongFarmers is as follows: To help music lovers find a new, defined direction for their music. To gather the global community of front porch minded musicians and help them do good work, bring roots music education into schools free of charge, and enhance communities by redirecting the tremendous energies of local musicians. We call our members “SongFarmers.”
The formerly named Pickin’ Porch, which meets every Saturday morning at the library, accepted the invitation of Woodsongs to join in their network. We are now SongFarmers of Conway. Our Open Mic Night also falls into this network.
All musicians are welcome to SongFarmers of Conway on Saturdays at 9:30 AM and our Open Mic Nights on third Thursdays at 7:00 PM.
