This method will work for vegetables and flowers. Discussion will cover building your own raised bed garden, the perfect soil mix, how to plant for maximum yields, fertilizing, and companion plantings.”
Second Session: The Basics of Home Canning & Canning with Herbs – Speakers Kim and Stan Hinkle, Owners of Harvest Fresh Farm. “Learn how to safely can at home. Discussion will cover the techniques used for low-acid and high-acid foods when canning vegetables, fruits, meats, etc. Learn how to creatively use herbs in the canning process to enhance the end product.”
