State Senator Jason Rapert (R-Conway) today issued the following statement in commemoration of Pearl Harbor Day:
“As we pay tribute and remember the victims and survivors of the attack on Pearl Harbor, we must also remember the lesson our nation learned as galvanized Americans came together in selfless dedication and sacrificed of themselves to ensure the freedoms that we enjoy today. We see that same commitment in the modern day heroes that wear the nation’s uniform as well as their families. As we praise the efforts of the ‘Greatest Generation,’ let us also pause to thank those who are carrying on their legacy today.”
