November 5th is Stand Sunday

November 5 is STAND SUNDAY, an expression of Orphan Sunday in churches across America who are standing for kids in foster care. The CALL is asking that each church in VBC consider emphasizing the church’s responsibility to care for these children in your worship service on Nov. 5th.
The CALL will be holding it’s last informational meeting of the year on November 7th at 6:00 p.m. at the Botkinburg Foursquare Gospel Church located north of Clinton on Hwy 65. If you are interested in learning how to become a foster or adoptive parent we invite you to attend. The CALL is also looking for volunteers to serve in leadership and other positions so if you are interested in this we ask you to please attend the meeting as well. Our county is in desperate need of more foster homes.
