The Arkansas Historic Preservation Program will host the State Review Board to Review Properties

The Arkansas Historic Preservation Program will host the State Review Board at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the Arkansas Heritage building, 1100 North St., Little Rock.

The committee will discuss properties being considered for listings on the National Register of Historic Places and the Arkansas Register of Historic Places to include:

  • Southwestern Bell Headquarters Building – Little Rock, Pulaski County
  • Arkansas State Fairgrounds Historic District – Little Rock, Pulaski County
  • Broadmoor Neighborhood Historic District – Little Rock, Pulaski County
  • Bank of Carlisle – Carlisle, Lonoke County
  • Plunkett-Jarrell Grocer Company Building – Hot Springs, Garland County
  • Stuckey’s – Plumerville, Conway County
  • Chapel of the Transfiguration – Morrilton vic., Conway County
  • Paul & Ella Buerkle House – Stuttgart, Arkansas County
  • Forrest City Public Library – Forrest City, St. Francis County
  • First Presbyterian Church – Helena-West Helena, Phillips County
  • Nix Creek Bridge – Texarkana, Miller County
  • North Garvin Drive Historic District – Fayetteville, Washington County
  • Presbyterian Center – Fayetteville, Washington County
  • Winslow Commercial Historic District – Winslow, Washington County
  • Hillsboro Viaduct – El Dorado, Union County
  • Early View Lodge #181 – Urbana, Union County
  • Bispham-Brown House – Pocahontas, Randolph County
  • Scott Memorial Methodist Episcopal Church – Eudora, Chicot County
A listing on the National Register of Historic Places is honorary and makes properties eligible for certain grants and tax credits.

Additionally, the following properties will be discussed for delisting:

  • Greenwood School – Hot Springs, Garland County
  • Moore House – Searcy, White County
  • Buffalo River Bridge – Pruitt, Newton County
  • Osage Creek Bridge – Tontitown vic., Benton County
