The Clark Family Trio will be in concert at Center On The Square Searcy Jan 26

The Clark Family Trio will be in concert at Center On The Square at 219 West Arch on Saturday January 26 at 7pm.

The Clark Family Trio, accompanied by guitarist Bill Nesbitt, perform modern bluegrass, country and Gospel favorites, featuring tight three-part “family” harmonies and fingerstyle and flatpicked acoustic guitar.

Nine-year-old Sally Ann Clark and her big sister, 14-year old Sophie, have literally grown up singing with their Mom, Cindy (who also plays upright bass for the group). All three sing lead at different times, and all three sing different harmony parts, according to the need of the moment. They recently teamed up with guitarist Bill Nesbitt, who is equally adept at fingerpicking and flatpicking the guitar, and together they have delighted audiences around Arkansas with their talent and presentation.

Their set list includes unaccompanied Gospel numbers, traditional bluegrass and country, and mainstream acoustic selections of yesterday and today. The band’s self-titled CD features favorites from their song list, with Nesbitt multi-tracking on various instruments, including guitar and mandolin. It can be purchased via the band’s website, Clarkfamilytrio.com.

Tickets are $12 at the door and concessions are available. CD’s are available for $15.

There will be two 45 minute sets with a 15 minute intermission.

The Clark family Trio plays Bluegrass Americana Music. They can be seen on youtube and at clarkfamilytrio.com
