The Cleburne County Extension Office accepting applications for the Master Gardener On-line Training

The Cleburne County Extension Office is now accepting applications for the Master Gardener Spring On-line Training. The training will begin March 1. This on-line course is self-paced and registrants have until May 15 to complete the course.

The training is open to anyone interested in gardening and willing to participate in one or more of the public horticultural projects sponsored by the Master Gardeners throughout the county. First-year Master Gardeners are required to commit 40 hours of volunteer time their first year and 20 hours per year thereafter.

Please call the Extension Office at 501-362-2524 for more information or to request an application. The deadline for applications to be returned to the Extension Office is February 14th. Cost is $85 for the on-line training which includes the educational component, plus the book and a thumb drive.
