The Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas currently have about 10,400 members without service

The Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas currently have about 10,400 members without service as a result of the recent winter weather. The hardest hit cooperatives include Craighead Electric Cooperative of Jonesboro, First Electric Cooperative of Jacksonville, Petit Jean Electric Cooperative of Clinton, South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative of Arkadelphia and Woodruff Electric Cooperative of Forrest City.

Collectively, the state’s 17 electric cooperatives peak outage count was 18,000 during this round of winter weather.
