The musical trio Janus will perform a concert in Harding University’s Administration Auditorium Jan. 22 at 7 p.m.

Janus formed in 2002 with the desire to create new music for the viola, harp and flute trio through commissioned projects and collaborations. Additionally, the trio performs traditional works, including those by Debussy, Jolivet and Ravel.

While traveling the country to collaborate with musicians at several universities and music festivals, Janus has performed for more than 1,000 schoolchildren. The trio has been featured on stages such as Weill Recital Hall, Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage and Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts. Currently, they are on tour throughout Arkansas, Louisiana, Illinois and Wisconsin.

Tickets for the concert are $3. For more information, call the music department at 501-279-4343 or visit www.harding.edu/lyceum.
