The Natural State claims the title as worst in the nation when it comes to credit scores according to a recent study done by www.creditkarma.com.
“Oh my gosh! That’s not good. That is not good. Wow,” said Little Rock resident Jennifer Taylor when she found out the average credit score in the state is 636.
The national average is 666. The state with the highest average is Massachusetts with 685.
Arkansas Consumer Credit Counseling Education Director Linda Tucker said she meets hundreds of Arkansans every year who have never checked their score.
