The Play Fiddler on the Roof Clinton School March 31-April 2

Fiddler on the roof presentation involves 46 performers, involving students from Clinton schools as well as adults from the community and school faculty.

Practice began in October, and work has continued since then to prepare for the spring performance.

Fiddler on the roof the musical opened on Broadway in 1964.  In 1965, the show won nine Tony Awards, including the one for best musical. By 1971, when the production became Broadway’s longest-running musical (that record has since been broken several times), it had already been produced in 32 countries in 16 languages. The show closed the following year, but it has since been revived on broadway four times, most recently in 2004.

Fiddler on the roof will be preformed on March 31, April 1, and on April 2 @ 7 p.m.  (the doors will open at 6 p.m. Nightly.)

At the Clinton high school auditorium, just off of Yellow Jacket Lane – adjacent to the Clinton senior citizens’ center and Clinton’s Methodist church in Clinton, Arkansas.

Admission $8 for adults, $5 for students, and $2 for children 5 and under–all general admission (no reserved seating);  Advance tickets may be purchased at Clinton area Banks.
