The unveiling of Josh’s Bench for Awareness at Berryhill Park on Thursday

The unveiling of Josh’s Bench for Awareness, Suicide Awareness and HELP, during a ceremony that is scheduled for Thursday, March 11th at 4:00 p.m. at Berryhill Park in Searcy, Arkansas.

The bright yellow bench has a 1- 800 number to talk to someone if thoughts of suicide are present.

Josh was born in Searcy in 1996.  His mother, Cindy Nadelbach of West Palm Beach Florida reached out to the Searcy Parks & Recreation Department and offered to place a bench in one of our parks.  The Nadelbach’s formed this nonprofit org. for donating benches as a way to honor their son and help many others who may be saved from suicide by being able to talk to someone right then and there.

Cindy Nadelbach said,” With every unveiling, we usually get enough donations or sponsorships so we can at least get three more awareness benches made and donate them to other locations.  The cost of a bench is $990.”
