The White County Single Parent Scholarship Fund,Inc. recently announced its application deadline for the spring, 2012 semester. The deadline is December 31, 2011.
The WCSPSF, Inc. awards scholarships to residents of White County who are single parents of minor children under the age of 18. The applicant must be pursuing a post-secondary field of study that will result in skilled employment. The applicant must have graduated from high school or have a GED, have applied for a Pell grant, and meet income requirements. Since 2000, the WCSPSF has awarded 346 scholarships valued at $169,200.00. In 2011, the WCSPSF awarded 46 scholarships valued at $27,825.00.
