Tiffany Aaron to Compete in the World’s Largest Food Fight

For the third time, Tiffany Aaron from Quitman, Arkansas, is headed to Orange Beach, Alabama, to compete in the World’s largest food fight! Can you develop a chicken recipe that’s worth $100,000?! Aaron certainly thinks she can! Tiffany successfully qualified for the world’s largest event in Food Sport – the World Food Championships (WFC) and will be vying for a $300,000 prize purse and the title of 2017 World Food Champion from November 10th to 13th.

Aaron’s team is one of about 500 from across the world who will be seeking the ultimate food crown, and one of only 5 from Arkansas. The home cook won a chance to compete and as a result, she will now have a shot for a major payday at WFC, where a $100,000 prize purse is awarded for the best dish overall and a $10,000 package is awarded in 10 different categories: Bacon, BBQ, Burger, Chef, Chili, Dessert, Sandwich, Seafood, Steak, and Recipe.

In 2014, Aron competed in Reser’s America’s Best Potato Salad Challenge and acted as sous chef for a friend and fellow competitor in the WFC Recipe event in Las Vegas. The experience allowed her to witness first-hand the one-of-a-kind competition that is World Food Championships. This year the mom of five be competing in the Recipe category after earning a Golden Ticket through a Food Champ recipe contest.

Tiffany’s passion for baking was born when she and her mom started selling cinnamon rolls to Denton Foods, a small-town grocery store in rural Denton, Montana, when she was in the 6th grade. Over the years she has honed her baking skills and takes advantage of every opportunity to learn something new about the culinary world. She caught the competition bug in 2013 after being named a finalist in the Pillsbury Bake Off. In the months since, the self-professed Betty Crocker wannabe has won and placed in numerous national and local recipe contests and appeared on the TODAY Show in early 2017. She hopes to add a World Food Championships win to her resume.
