Urologist Tommy Thompson, M.D. Joins Searcy Medical Center

White County Medical Center welcomes Urologist Tommy Thompson, M.D., to the medical community as he has joined Searcy Medical Center.
 
Prior to moving to Searcy, Dr. Thompson worked in a private practice clinic in Collierville, Tenn., for 27 years while serving as staff urologist at Methodist Healthcare and Baptist Healthcare Systems in Memphis. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Diplomat of the American Board of Urology.
 
Dr. Thompson was the Chief of Urology at a fleet hospital in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm in 1991 and received a Navy Commendation Medal for his service during the time of conflict, as well as his past service as Chief of Urology at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Millington, Tenn.
