Van Buren man claims Lucky For Life® ticket worth $25,000 a year

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arthur Perry Sr. of Van Buren bought a Lucky for Life® lottery ticket at the Pic-N-Tote located at 2203 Fayetteville Road in Van Buren and won $25,000-a-year-for-life. Claiming his prize late Friday afternoon, he took the cash option of $390,000.

The winning numbers in Thursday night’s drawing were 24-26-32-38-42 with the Lucky Ball being 18. Perry selected all five gold ball numbers without the Lucky Ball number.

Lucky for Life® is a multi-state game with drawings every Monday and Thursday. Five numbered balls are drawn from one to 48 and one Lucky Ball number is drawn from one to 18. If all a player’s numbers match those that are chosen, he wins the top prize of $7,000 a week for life.

Perry said he discovered that he was a winner this morning. “My wife didn’t believe me when I told her that I won, because I’ve previously won $115,000 on the Natural State Jackpot,” Perry stated. “I purchased a car and helped my family with my NSJ winnings.”

Perry is retired and plans to pay bills, relax and pursue his passion for gospel music with his winnings.

The last Lucky for Life® winner in Arkansas was Ronald Wallace from Bryant. He matched the five gold ball numbers and claimed his prize on August 3, 2018. Instead of taking $25,000 a year for life, he selected the cash option of $390,000. Wallace bought his winning ticket at the Flash Market retailer 26213 Interstate-30, Bryant.

The Mega Millions® drawing tonight is for a $190 million jackpot. The Natural State Jackpot has grown to $125,000 for tonight’s drawing. Saturday’s Powerball® jackpot stands at $260 million.
