“Water Water Everywhere” Art Exhibit in Clinton

Members of the North Central Arkansas Artist League hung a new exhibit at Ozark Health Medical Centeron Highway 65 South in Clinton.Gone are the golds, yellows, and oranges of sunflowers from the last exhibit, now replaced by the cool blues of water in all sorts of forms: waterfalls, lakes, millstreams, puddles, ponds, rivers and oceans. This exhibit will remain through July 30th, when the next exhibit will feature an artisticdisplay of rusty relics, old machinery, forgotten boats, and other antiqueequipment.

Twenty-two artists have chosen 37 unique paintings and drawings featuring wateras the theme.  Media includes pen and ink, oil, watercolor, acrylic ink,and pastel, all originals. Art purchases help the community, with a portion ofeach art sale going to the Hospital Auxiliary for health projects.

Artists exhibiting are Diana Foote, Clinton; Mary Shelton, Cabot; RosalieMusial, Greenbrier; Louise Shaw, Quitman; Lea Berry, Kathleen Hadley, JeanneHomuth, Connie Hood, Robbie Ingle, Ellen Kelly, Ruby Krimm, Freda May, DorisSexson, Alison Shreck, Pauline Sears, Van Swink, all of Fairfield Bay; JulieCaswell, Jan Cobb, and Pamma Henderson, all of Edgemont; Raylene Finkbeiner,Houston; Judy Shumann, Diamond Bluff; and Joyce Hartmann, OHMC ExhibitCoordinator, Choctaw.

Members of the NCAArtist League meet each Monday in OldTown FairfieldBay at Bayside Studio andGallery, where they paint together and exhibit and show and sell more of theirwork; the public is welcome to view this art by local artists between 9:30 andnoon or by appointment. Bayside is located at the intersection of Highway 330and Greenwood Rd.,across from Stringbeanz Restaurant.
