Watercolor Workshop Held To Paint Large Realistic Flowers

Versatile award-winning artist Marlene Gremillion of Hot Springs Village presented a two-day watercolor workshop at Our Towne Conference and Visitor Center in Fairfield Bay to 16 members of the North Central Arkansas Artist League June 20 and 21. Participants learned techniques to paint large realistic flowers on full size sheets of 300-lb. Arches paper, as well as learned how to use camera, printers, and computer for references and enlargement of original drawings.

Participants came from Fairfield Bay, Clinton, Edgemont, Jacksonville, Shirley, Quitman, and Greers Ferry. They are holding partially completed works, midway through the workshop. Look for them to be completed, framed and hanging in local exhibits soon
