Weak Economy Doesn’t Seem To Damper Holiday Traditions

The economy may still be frightful for many Americans, but high numbers of U.S. adults still want the holiday to be delightfully bright and cheery.

A Zogby Interactive poll conducted from November 19-22 found that:

78% will put up and decorate a Christmas tree
58% will put up lights or decorations outside their residence
58% will make a donation to charity
53% will attend a religious service
37% will host a party
25% will volunteer or provide some community service
5% will go caroling
4% will light a Menorah
