White River Health System To Honor Tammy Lusk

Drasco, Ark.–White River Health System is proud to congratulate Tammy Lusk, Nurse Practitioner at Drasco Medical Clinic, on earning her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Robert Morris University in Pennsylvania. A DNP is the highest level of nursing degrees and better prepares advanced practice nurses for the growing healthcare needs in our country.

Lusk  received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arkansas Tech University, and received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Central  Arkansas in 2007. She has a diverse nursing background including family medicine, pediatrics, adults and the elderly. She also has experience in Orthopedic and General Surgeries.

At Drasco Medical Clinic, Lusk focuses on patient education and wellness for the entire family. She conducts physical exams, diagnoses, and initiates treatments of acute and chronic illnesses. She is able to prescribe medications, as well as order and interpret lab studies and X-rays. She can also perform minor surgical procedures.

To honor her achievement, a celebration will be held on Tuesday, July 9, from 4pm-5:30pm at the Drasco Medical Clinic located at 60  Greers Ferry Road. Anyone is welcome to attend and congratulate Lusk for her hard work and dedication to the people of Drasco and surrounding areas.
