Wilkerson Accepts New Position at Ozarka College

Ozarka College announced the promotion of Zeda Wilkerson to the Registrar position in its Student Services Department last month.  Wilkerson transitioned her new job in February.

Wilkerson has been Ozarka’s Director of Admissions since 2006 and had previously been a recruiter for her alma mater, Lyon College, where she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in 2001.  Zeda also acquired her master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Arkansas Tech University last May and is excited to put her education to work in her new job as Registrar.

She states, “I really look forward to continuing to serve students in this new role and working more closely with the academic advising component of Ozarka College.”

The duties of Registrar had been managed by Vice President of Student Services Ron Helm.  According to Helm, “As the college has grown and enrollment has continued to increase over the last several years, it has become necessary to fill the gapped position of Registrar to adequately fulfill those duties.”

Helm adds, “Zeda is an asset to our Student Services Department and Ozarka College is fortunate to have her continue to work closely with our students in this position.  As our Registrar she will continue to enhance the quality of service Ozarka has to offer its students.”

Zeda and her husband, Travis live in Melbourne with their two sons, Wyatt and Zane.  She enjoys reading, music and traveling with her family.
