Women of Mountain Music Concert Features Avery Hill

The Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View, Arkansas will hold the annual “Women of Mountain Music” concert on Saturday, May 7.

The concert is hosted by Ozark Folk Center State Park Interpreter, Mary Gillihan and highlights the many contributions of women in the Ozark regions, musical and otherwise.

There is a great line up of local performers including (Honeysuckle) Clancey Ferguson and Pam Setser, Herbin’League (Tina Marie Wilcox and Marion Spear) Mary Gillihan and friends. The Feature Performer is singer/songwriter Avery Hill from Portland, OR.

“Avery performed as part of a song writing workshop in Mountain View last year, said Music Director Daren Dortin. We heard so many wonderful things about her performance and wanted to host her for a concert and recording for Ozark Highlands Radio.”

Tickets for the concert are $12.00 general admission seats and are available throughout the park on the day of the show (no reserved seats). Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the music starts at 7:00 p.m.
