Work on Interstate 30 Requires Parking Lot Closures and River Trail Detours in Little Rock and North Little Rock

 Crews performing pre-construction work along the Interstate 30 corridor in Little Rock will require road, parking lot and trail closures in Little Rock and North Little Rock, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, crews will close two parking lots and a section of road adjacent to I-30 in Little Rock and detour Arkansas River Trail traffic in Little Rock and North Little Rock. These closures will be in place until further notice. See the attached maps for further information.

Closed Parking Lots in Little Rock – Beginning Friday, September 18

  • Inside the westbound off-ramp loop to Highway 10, Cantrell Road and Clinton Avenue (Exit 141A), accessed off East 2nd Street.
  • Below I-30 between East 2nd Street and President Clinton Avenue, accessed off Ferry Street.

Road Closure in Little Rock – Beginning Friday, September 18

  • A section of Ottenheimer Plaza beginning at President Clinton Avenue to west of I-30, including below the Interstate. Alternate detours will be signed.

Arkansas River Trail Closures in Little Rock (Beginning Friday, September 18) and
North Little Rock (Beginning Monday, September 21)

  • In Little Rock, river trail traffic below I-30 will be detoured south to President Clinton Avenue. 
  • In North Little Rock, river trail traffic below I-30 will be detoured north to Riverfront Drive.
