Work Requires Alternating Lane Closures on U.S. Highway 67 in Saline County

Work related to pavement preservation on U.S. Highway 67 in Saline County will begin tomorrow, Saturday October 28 at 7:00 a.m., and will require lanes in both directions to be alternately closed, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation officials.

Weather permitting; the contractor will begin milling the existing asphalt pavement in preparation for placement of a new asphalt layer between Exit 114 at Interstate 30 and the Hot Spring County line.

Random alternating lane closures will occur between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily for at least 21 days while the contractor completes the work.

Motorists are encouraged to be aware of slow-moving traffic and potential delays as work is performed on the route. Traffic will be controlled by warning signs and flaggers. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov.
