Programs & Services of WRAAA
At WRAAA, our people are dedicated to serving older Arkansans. We hope that this website is helpful in showing you what services we can offer, and that you will contact us with any questions, or if you believe we can assist you in any way with your senior care needs. For example:
Do you know someone who is homebound, or at risk for poor nutrition? Or maybe someone feels isolated, and interaction with others could help them live a more meaningful life? Click the Senior Centers link to the left and a list of senior centers and their contact information is available right away!
Perhaps you are a caregiver and need time to take a break for a short time? Or maybe you or your loved one needs help with managing their activities of daily living? Click the Home Care link or Caregiver Resources to see that we offer a Respite program for Caregivers, and personalized In-Home Care to help seniors remain independent.
Are you having difficulty working with a nursing home or an assisted living facility? Contact us and let our Ombudsman work with you and the facility. And did we mention that we offer Assisted Living, which includes a whirlpool tub, movie theater, wonderful food and lots of regular activities? Just click on the link to find out more!
Do you worry about falling and not being able to get to a phone? Or have a serious medical condition that may require emergency assistance quickly, or are you concerned about your safety in general? Click the Personal Emergency Response link to the left, and learn about our Help Line system.
Or maybe you know a senior who is on a limited income but needs a decent place to live. Just click on the Housing Assistance & Locations link and let us show you where our 12 apartment properties are located.
Or, like many, you just don’t know where to begin! In that case either click on the Information and Education link, or just pick up the phone and call us. Our specialists can guide you to various resources, and our Care Managers can help with these programs and paperwork.
